Hi Jacqui, Andrew and team.

I just wanted to extend our gratitude to you all on behalf of Karen and the family. Yesterday's celebration of Ross's life was absolutely beautiful. We had so many comments from all those who attended about how wonderful everything was.

Thank you for all the support in making the difficult process better, and for all your hard work in organizing everything behind the scenes. Ross would have really loved everything that yesterday encompassed.

Jacqui, thank you especially for delivering such a beautiful service. It was so meaningful and heartfelt. Everyone was extremely grateful for your compassion, care and empathy throughout the eulogy and particularly reading of the tributes.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

Kindest regards,

Dear Julie and Andrew,

Thank you for all your help organizing today’s ceremony. It was such a beautiful morning and the venue was fantastic. The morning tea venue and catering were terrific as well.

Thank you Julie for orchestrating all of those beautiful water birds that were swooping over the lake during the ceremony.

We had lots of lovely comments from our family and friends about how beautiful the whole funeral was.

As a family we would like to sincerely thank Andrew, Virginia and staff at Mornington Peninsula Funerals who supported us so well with the sad passing of our dear mother. We could not recommend MPF more highly who we chose firstly, because they were an independent, small family owned business, but right from the first call with Andrew, were responsive, empathic, respectful and guided us at a time that was extremely difficult and sad for our family.

Having been involved with a few funerals, MPF was by far the easiest, most sensitive and empathic to work with. The advantages of selecting a small, independent funeral director are immense. Knowing that Mum was in the next room at MPF and not at a another location, as often happens with larger businesses, was very comforting. Their service is personalised and affordable.

The funeral was held at the Safety Beach Sailing Club overlooking the water and we cannot think of a more peaceful and suitable spot to farewell our dear Mother. The expert attention to the photographs and music was extraordinary. The recommendation of having Andy as our celebrant for Mum's service was a perfect fit for our family. Andy was the right balance of sensitivity, respect and humour that set the tone for the morning.

Thank you again for the wonderful work you do at MPF.

"I would like to thank Andrew, Julie and their team at Mornington Peninsula Funerals for making such a difficult and emotional time in our lives easier.

They were very kind, calming, empathetic and compassionate when they learned of the sudden and tragic passing of our son Jack. They took the time to listen and get a feel for what we needed and wanted for his service and celebration of his life.  They were literally available any time of any day which was a huge help, at such a critical time.

We feel were gifted Leonie, Jacks Celebrant, who was outstanding. Many people came to us commenting on how wonderfully kind and amazing Leonie was. She really tuned into what Jack was all about which just made the day unique and special.

Can’t recommend MP Funerals high enough. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"Graham wanted to support a small, local business to help with his funeral arrangements. We found Mornington Peninsula Funerals and felt immediately that they were the perfect fit for my family. Andrew and Julie met with my daughter and I and over a cup of tea  they guided us gently and kindly, with such patience through the whole process.

Graham was prepared for a family viewing and our lasting impression was of a man at peace, dressed in his favourite musical festival attire. They suggested Andy as a celebrant for the service and after one meeting we felt like we had known him for ever. He was a perfect mix of gentleness, patience, humour and respect and proved a big hit with our family and livestream viewers on the day of the service.

The service was held at Tanglewood Chapel in Merricks - such beautiful surrounds with the glistening bay visible through the chapel windows.

Expert attention  (and great patience ) to photography, music and live stream created a seamless, calm and beautiful send off for our Graham - he would have been so pleased.

Our heartfelt thank you  to the whole team.

Thank you again Julie and  Andrew x

"Sadly I recently lost my dear mother, Irma.

From the very first moment that we came to MP Funerals in McCrae and met Julie and Andrew we were greeted with such kindness and compassion.

I had no idea of which way to turn or what to do but they both heard my thoughts and fears with such a sympathetic ear and very gently led me on the path to doing what I wanted for my beautiful Mum. I had some clear ideas of what I thought Irma's celebration would look like but without their guidance I don't believe that it would have been as successful.

The celebration of my mother's life was made richer for the involvement of Julie and Andrew in her final journey and I thank them sincerely for bringing her home safely.

Eternally grateful Karin and Frank"

"Andrew, thank you so much for arranging such a moving funeral for Netta. Your attention to detail, caring manner, and your ability to anticipate our every need was much appreciated. Up to this point there have been in excess of 100 viewings of the “live stream” and we have received exceptional reports.

You made the whole family comfortable and they felt that we had given Netta the sort of send off she deserved. Thanks again for a job exceptionally well done."

"I would just like to thank and acknowledge MPF for the care and compassion shown to my family with the passing of my uncle.

What is a very sad day for family and friends was turned into a beautiful tribute to my uncle at the Blairgowrie Yacht Club by all involved at MPF.

They certainly make the whole experience a personal and comforting one bringing reassurance to the family during such a difficult time that their loved one is in good hands.

Thank you MPF."

"Mornington Peninsula Funerals arranged my father-in-laws recent Funeral.   John was very much a family man and the funeral really reflected that. It was intimate, welcoming and perfectly organised.  MPF were there to help us through with anything on the day and at the same time stood back and enabled the family to celebrate Johns life. A perfect balance that enabled a seamless day.  For that MPF are to be highly recommended."

Dear Kim, Andrew and Jacqui,

Thank you so much for your help in making Barbara’s celebration of life such a special occasion for all family and friends.

From first point of contact with Kim right through to completion, we were grateful for the way in which the team at Mornington Peninsula Funerals worked with us to help create a service that best reflected Barbara’s life.

We were impressed not only with the professionalism and delicate manner in which the team handled all aspects, but also the time spent by Andrew in working with us to create a unique photo and music presentation to showcase Barbara’s life achievements, not only as a performer, but to also reflect her love of family.

When engaging with Jacqui as celebrant we were in great hands as she took the time to really understand who Barbara was as a person, and in turn help shape the service with such a warm, engaging and articulate delivery on the day.

Best Regards,

Stan, Stephen & Anthony Leek.

I am so glad we chose MP funerals for my mums recent passing.

I dealt with Andrew and Kim and they were so kind and compassionate and took care of everything so well. It is such a stressful time for me and they made me feel like I was dealing with family.

I would recommend them hands down to anyone who is unsure of who to go with as it can be a very daunting thing to decide at a time when you are dealing with grief.

Thank you so much Kim and Andrew.

Hi Kelly and Andrew,

I have been meaning to email you for the last few weeks to extend my deepest gratitude for all the care, compassion and support you provided myself, Cait and Dad in our most difficult time.

Mum's celebration of life was so perfect and I'm sure she would have felt it was a perfect send off for her.

We are very glad you came recommended and you made the planning and arrangements so easy and stress free

Thank you so much,

Thank you for your respect for Dad after he had died, your calm presence was just what was needed.

The order of service booklet is beautiful, and lovely to see for those who couldn't be there.

My beautiful Aunty Mini passed away in February 2022.

My mother had done so much research on finding the perfect people to give my Aunty a beautiful ceremony as well as finding someone who could care and nurture our broken hearts.

We found Julie and Andrew.
This family was highly recommended to us and we thank our lucky stars we found them.
They had given my mother all the time to grieve over the 5 months of preparing for her final farewell.

So much communication was between Julie and my mother that finally what was created between the 3 of them I have to say was the most beautifullest and fun farewell I have ever experienced.

We had a bubble machine, music and beautiful leaf foliage that decorated my aunties weave basket and her place of rest,Mini would have been so proud.

Julie, Andrew and Branka; words can not explain the beautiful transition you had given Mini to her final place of rest.

Your care for everyone was incredible, the service was outstanding and the beautiful souls you have will stay with us forever.

We will always remember her beautiful farewell and thank you for taking care of my mother while she grieved heavily for my Aunty Mini.

So blessed to have had you care for us all.
❤️❤️❤️
Hugs Katiya and Julie( My mum).xxx

Our Dad (95 yrs old) passed away last year and both Dad and family only wanted a very private farewell.

Julie was wonderful in assisting us in organising a simple but meaningful farewell to dear Dad.

We cannot thank Julie & Andrew enough for their attention to detail and the care they provided as they guided our family through this difficult time. Thank you from our family.

" When my father, Bob White, passed away we really wanted to do the best we could for his funeral to be a fitting tribute to him. It was a huge responsibility for us.

Fortunately we came to find Julie, Andrew and their team, and after a few meetings and chats with them we felt extremely confident that they were the right people to use.

We quickly realised that we could trust them and we didn't have to worry. This was a huge relief for us.

The lead up to the funeral was an easy process and on the day all was organised and everything went really well. They provided all we asked for.

We will be forever grateful for their care and their teams work. "

Our choice of Mornington Peninsula Funerals proved to be a master stroke.

From our early morning call asking for their assistance, through to the funeral service for our lovely Ross, Julie and Andrew paid absolute attention to every detail with care and sympathy.

It made our grieving more bearable and our family were most grateful to them. A warm thank you Julie and Andrew.

"We wish to thank mpfunerals, in particular, Julie (Davey) & Andrew (Ternes) for their sincerity and professionalism in the recent handling of the funeral arrangements of our late sister Kaye Podger (née Webster) who sadly passed away alone in Mornington, December 2020.

The efforts of both Julie & Andrew in dealing with this matter in the caring, compassionate & professional nature made dealing with the tragic loss of our sister less stressful for all Kaye’s remaining family members.

We, as a family, cannot thank Mornington Peninsula Funerals enough for their respect, support, guidance & assistance in this matter & highly recommend Mornington Peninsula Funerals.

"Andrew and Julie were very caring and professional which made my Mum's passing so much easier. With the option of the funeral service to be at the Safety Beach Yacht Club over looking the Bay and one last drive along the beach road before her cremation we couldn't have asked for anything more.

I recommend their services to anyone as it's hard to say goodbye but again Andrew and Julie made it feel good. Thank you both so much.

"MPF recently organised my fathers funeral memorial at Blairgowrie yacht club and burial at Sorrento cemetery. It was faultless from beginning to end.

We started with a much larger funeral home before changing to MPF and the difference was extraordinary – personal, caring, empathetic and every detail taken care of – I cannot speak highly enough of them – they know the Peninsula and how special it is and understand exactly what you are looking for if you are seeking for a funeral there – and they are really lovely people – I would not have any hesitation in recommending them."

"The time of a loved one's death can be very challenging on many levels.

Andrew and Julie were thoughtful and insightful to our needs and the type of celebration that we wanted for John's well loved elderly father.

Nothing was too much trouble and Andrew made it all so easy for us. We highly recommend their service."

"Andrew and Julie are knowledgeable, respectful, trustworthy and caring in every way and our mother's funeral was a most beautiful tribute to her.

We changed our minds over a couple of things, and Andrew was always friendly and nothing was too much trouble for him. At a time when everything is so overwhelming and emotional, I fully trusted Andrew and this friendly family firm.

I did not know them previously to this and I wholeheartedly recommend Andrew & Julie as they will look after your loved one and you in the most respectful and caring way.

My sincere thanks."

On 2nd July we had the honour of conducting a funeral for Mr Len W. of McCrae.

Len's devoted wife Rosemary was so impressed with the elegant coffin, floral tribute and venue that she asked us to put this story on our website as a tribute to Len.

Rosemary was determined to make the farewell a positive experience for her two young grandsons. And she certainly did.

The service – held at the newly renovated Safety Beach Sailing Club – was quite uplifting, despite the sad occasion. Memorabilia from Len's 94 years adorned the front table, providing a sense of normality for the family and paying homage to a man who'd had a very rich and full life. In pre or post covid conditions, it would have been a much larger gathering for sure.

The spectacular coastal and bay views also helped the boys to get through what could have been a daunting experience and we appreciate SBSC for allowing us to again use their stunning venue.
